The UK based Assumption Volunteers enjoyed the weekend together in Newcastle. We were able to spend some quality time in community with one another and the Sisters; as well as reflecting on the past few months as a volunteer, recalling the wonders of the roses and thorns that came along the way, forever grateful of what God has gifted each of us with.
For our outing we were transported back in time at Beamish: visiting the Living Museum of the North, learning about history, the way of life in England, while immersed in the beautiful surroundings of the place and enjoyed a wonderful sunny day.
